Amalfi

A commune in the Campania region

Amalfi was the first of Italy's four Maritime Republics. Due to its importance, lends its name to a stretch of the Italian coast - the Amalfi coast.

The Duomo di Sant'Andrea is the city's most iconic symbol. You can see its history in the modifications that have been made to the structure.

Atrani, in the amalfi coast, has been listed as a World Heritage site by Unesco.
