Maruja Limón join the DIRECTES ESTRELLA DAMM 150 series after taking their music across international festival stages and into new corners of the world, crossing borders with every show.

The Barcelona-based six-piece have built a vibrant and unmistakable sound that flows naturally between flamenco, pop and Latin rhythms. They will present their latest album, ‘Te como la cara’, a journey through the many sides of Catalan rumba, flamenco, quinqui, mestizo and Latin music, where experimental, electronic and organic sounds collide. An explosive record filled with lyrics that move between sensitivity and irony, touching on both personal and social themes.

On October 24th at Sala Times in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Maruja Limón will once again do what they do best: reimagine rumba through dembow, electronica, salsa and pop, in a live show bursting with energy, rhythm and celebration.
